Janet Solie received training at Duke Integrative Medicine Center for Living Campus in Durham, North Carolina and is an Integrative Health Coach. Janet is also a licensed physician assistant in the state of California. She has a bachelor degree in physiology from Colorado State University. She graduated from the Child Health Associate physician assistant program at University of Colorado school of medicine with a masters degree. She resides in Calabasas, California.
Janet spent several years in a private family practice in central California before moving to southern California to serve as a faculty member for a family practice residency program. There she was a mentor, educator, administrator, and health care provider.
She now works exclusively with private clients as an Integrative Health Coach. In addition she is a health writer and presenter for educational talks, seminars, and workshops for local hospitals, and community groups. Topics of special interest include supporting parents of children with special needs and coping and healing strategies for chronic illness and food as medicine.
Janet is a recreational athlete, lifetime member of Weight Watchers, equestrian, student of qigong and mindfulness, mother of two teen daughters, and avid cook of healthy food.
